The OT: Battlegrounds And Horror Gaming

April 22, 2017

Learning to Love the Masochism of ‘Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds

I don’t know about the efficacy of the pistols, but the deflection of the shotgun blast by a frying pan is more reasonable than the bullsh!t you get in Gears!

And the launch trailers for Friday the 13th and Dead By Daylight.

Ok, you and Tom go into the house and get the backpack. Sally and I will go into the dark barn and grab the battery. We’ll meet back at the car.

And Astroneer. I cannot wait for this game to grow up a bit more. It looks so amazing.

And the May Games for Gold look pretty fun.

As it were each & every fricking year with the Clippers playoff run, one of their “big three” is injured. The Clippers have confirmed that Blake Griffin’s injury is season ending. For fuck sakes. I’m a huge Griffin fan, but it’s time to see what we can get for him. He’s been hurt every fucking playoff run. Give me a straight up trade for Paul George. George wants to be a Laker, but at least he comes back to his Los Angeles roots. If I were him, I’d rather play with CP3 & DJ instead of a team that’s rebuilding. The Clippers have a legitimate shot at the Finals instead of the Lakers who are still trying to make it back to the playoffs. Makes perfect sense to me. This bad luck seems like a damn curse. The universe doesn’t want this team that was tainted by Donald Sterling to have any real success. 😩

Wow! Season ending. That is a pretty significant toe injury. From the replays, it didn’t even look like he stubbed it, let alone did whatever it takes to put him out for the rest of the year. Love Griffin, too. Lob city and an interview with him and CP3 is what put the Clippers on my favorite list three years ago. But the time has come to say goodbye. Just, whatever the Clippers do, don’t trade for Melo or Rose. I’d rather have nothing than Mr. Selfish Ego and Mr. Privilege Stained Glass (should they ever come into consideration).

At Zos below, glad to have something new on the horizon.

    • April 23, 2017 6:29 pm

Hey, speaking of injury, Steve Kerr may be out for the rest of the playoffs, certainly for the rest of the current series.

Kevin Durant, Matt Barnes, Shaun Livingston, Kevon Looney and …Steve Kerr. It is almost comical.

Anyway, the Thunder and the Rockets duked it out tonight. After that fiasco second game, Westbrook has decided to pass the ball a bit. In the third game, he only took one 3 point shot for the entire game. They lost tonight so they are down 3-1, but they played valiantly. Really, that series has become a circus.

And Go Clips! Time to slam the door. No feelin’ sorry for yourself. Just work hard and take another game from Utah, in their house. You can do it so stop playin’ like you aren’t sure if you can.

This is a crazy entertaining year for NBA playoffs!

I’m so disgusted with how the Clippers blew an opportunity to win game 4 in Utah when the Jazz’s best player, Gordon Heyward, was strickened with food poisoning. F’king ridiculous! They are done now that the Jazz have Gobert back. Unfricking believable. 😡😩

    • April 24, 2017 12:53 am

Ahh…too bad. Probably won’t bother queuing that one up then. I wasn’t worried about spoilers. If they had won, I was going to watch it even knowing the score. And if they didn’t, I didn’t want to be bothered. Life is busy. Too bad. However, never say done. Remember the comeback.

Suns, since you paid hard earned coin for the NBA playoffs package, I won’t spoil any scores & wins/losses anymore. I was just pissed off at the Clippers’ missed opportunity, especially when the Jazz are getting healthy & Griffin is out for good.

On another note, I’ve been watching a lot of gameplay videos for Dead by Daylight & Friday the 13th. Since we’re only going to get one of these cat & mouse games which are similarly themed, I’d wait until the reviews for Ft13. Currently, DBD is way more polished & the team that’s working on the game has a good rapport with their community. There’s a lot of content (maps & killers) for it already. In addition, Valve allowed them to use Left for Dead’s Bill & character outfits. Also, Michael Myers from Halloween is licensed to them. The graphics & character animations are way better than Ft13. However, Ft13 seems to have more objective-based elements than DBD. The major downside of DBD is that it’s published by Starbreeze who owns those bastards, Overkill Studios. Yep, the jerks that are responsible for Payday 2. Although DBD is developed by Behaviour, Starbreeze’s commitment is to the PC, and not necessarily the consoles. We’ll see I guess. Man, talk about some intense & humorous gameplay videos. I can’t wait to play this on our Xboxes!

  3. April 22, 2017 2:52 pm

That frying pan clip is epic lol! [EDIT] OK, watching Beams of the squad mode and this game looks incredible. It’s all about positioning, communication and making plays. Similar to Dayz with the cat and mouse chases and epic firefights. This is now #1 on my anticipated list.

It’s easy to get lost in all the noise, but there have been over 500 ID@Xbox games released. Full list on MN’s blog:

Worth glancing over to see if any gems stick out.

Well, MS desperately needs some timed exclusive content for Scorpio. Shadow of Mordor 2 isn’t going to cut it. Even though the first game was well received; it didn’t necessarily set the world on fire with its lackluster sales.
The continuation of PS4’s one-year DLC exclusivity for the Destiny franchise definitely stings. Sony is putting out a ton of money for timed exclusivity & DLC content from SW: Battlefront 2, Hitman: Season 2, etc. in efforts to take the incoming blow of the Scorpio because the PS4 Pro can’t match the it, in terms of hardware superiority. Ultimately, it’s going to be the games & time of access that will convince gamers on which system to purchase.

Still haven’t heard what you guys think about jumping onboard for Friday the 13th or Dead by Daylight. 🤔

I’m down, but agree we should wait to see reviews for F13.

  7. April 24, 2017 6:54 pm

Lots of fun stuff to talk about.

First, no worries Kenny about spoiling games. Please, talk about them. I would rather decide not to watch a game, but have someone to discuss it with, than to have no one to talk to about it. Nuff said. Keep the convo/opinions going!

As regards CoD:WWII (more from the previous thread than this one), I will very much enjoy watching any of y’all’s Beams, which is turning out to be fantastic, mostly just in its incredible convenience. I hope to avoid buying CoD, but can fully understand the appeal.

IDXbox is a fantastic subdivision of games and whenever there is a game WE can play together, I am on board (I would be all over Overcooked if it had network play). Basically, if the game is <20 bucks, I am often willing to pull the trigger without thinking (unless it is a game I know that I don't want to play). I consider 20 bucks to be "petty cash", the price of a movie, and it doesn't require any debate. If I ended up with a weekend of fun, then it was worth it. Anything over that, however, and it is a purchase that I need to think about. Basically, I need to avoid regret. Whenever I spend more than 20 bucks on a game, I can experience regret, or a feeling of foolishness for having purchased it if it isn't fun.

I don't care what pre-order incentives the two horror games offer, I want to go with the one that isn't broke. Let's wait on the reviews and maybe even a little after, unless they are under 20 bucks. 😉

I have a feeling that Friday 13th is going to be a disaster out of the gate, and only time will tell whether or not the developer will properly support it after launch. Thanks for the info on both companies, Kenny. Let's make informed decisions on this.

Oh, yes, and the exclusives, timed or other. MS needs to be all over this, or they need some incredible first party as-yet-unnanounced games. Otherwise, a lot of their tech decisions are in vain. And we need them to do it right so that the communities we play with are robust and well populated. This is really important stuff.

Understood about F13 & DBD, Suns. However, DBD is $30 & there’s a lot of content out for it already. The only reason why F13’s launch was suddenly moved up from October, Friday 13 was due to last week’s Starbreeze’s announcement that DBD would be appearing in consoles on June 20th. F13 doesn’t want to lose out on marketshare since both of them are similarly themed. DBD has a L4D feel to it, & that’s a good thing. Tell you what, you can watch us play it on Beam, & make your decision to purchase or not. That way, you won’t feel like we twisted your arm because we’re playing it. After all, no one wants to feel left out. The upcoming horror/killer games offer a fresh change from the usual game offerings. Waiting for either game to drop down to $20 is a stretch. Heck, you just dropped $80 to watch the NBA playoffs! 😂

I know two game franchises that I won’t be going back to; Battlefield & CoD. DICE can’t seem to get their heads out of their asses on the ability to play with your friends (on the same team) & CoD promotes selfish & cowardly play on non-dedicated servers. F’k dat!

As in regards to talking about the NBA playoffs, I think that my Clippers are done. Call me a pessimist, but I call it like it is. 😕 The Warriors should smoke all of their competition despite KD’s availability. Notice that I said “should.” 🤔

    • April 24, 2017 8:46 pm

LOL You are going to put that $80 NBA playoff purchase in my face every chance you get. ::shakes head:: LOL

(For the record, I don’t mind paying that much for games (and I have and do), or any form or entertainment, if I get value out of it. Watching the Superbowl or the NBA Playoffs for me are a taste of home. The pleasure goes way, way beyond the actual games themselves. It makes me feel a little like I am still part of North American culture that loves to celebrate life without needing to get drunk, gossip, and singing off tune. 😀 )

You misunderstand my point about 20 bucks. I am not saying that I won’t buy either horror game if they are more than 20, just that 20 is a magic number (completely arbitrary) that I don’t need to think twice about. Note: I debated in my bosom for weeks about the Playoff package. If it is more than 20, I need to be sure that I have done my homework to minimize my chance of regret. I am all about asymmetrical gameplay, especially when it involves being the puppet master a la L4D, and if these games aren’t broke out of sight, I will get the one we decide to get. Don’t want to buy both because they will be coming down in price eventually and we may as well get the second at that time.

I am thinking that we should wait until Dead By Dawn releases.

By the way, I am SO loving Beam, and think that it is a legitimate way we can hang together and have fun when we don’t/can’t agree on a game to play. Find a good channel and watch it as it happens. Let’s plan to watch some F13th upon release.

Understood about the Clips. After last year, I am going to let them win until they lose. 😦

  8. April 24, 2017 10:45 pm

Yeah, Doc is losing my favor for him with every minute that passes. He won a championship with a Celtics team that arguably would’ve won with almost anyone. He hasn’t had any control over the mood of his team. Lost Blake last year to a broken hand because he doesn’t know how to light a fire under him. Just about lost Jordon a while back.

Either take him off managerial duty or just fire his ass altogether. I am starting to feel sorry for Balmer. LOLOLOL LOLClippers indeed.

      April 24, 2017 11:31 pm

Some of your criticism of Doc Rivers is warranted, but to say that the Celtics could have won with anyone is far from the truth. Fire him? And replace him with who? Slim pickings on quality coaches. Since he was a former point guard, he helped an inexperienced Rajon Rondo play like a veteran & court general to the “big three”(Garnett, Pierce, & Allen). Also, his coaching throughout that championship playoff run was awesome. Remember, Pierce was hurt. His use of his bench players to bide time for Pierce to heal was amazing. Now, I completely agree that he is a terrible president/GM, and that fact is not up for debate. Many analysts have pointed out his serious missteps.

Placing fault on him about Blake Griffin is ridiculous. These are grown ass men that are paid as professional athletes. Griffin was tired of having people criticize him for being one-dimensional, and he clearly got sick of hearing it much less from the team’s equipment manager. I mean the equipment manager? WTF?!? Taste a knuckle sandwich, bitch! Doc’s internal handling of how many games Griffin would miss was short of genius because if Adam Silver would have handled it, it would have been significant. Doc was able to engineer just a four-game suspension without pay. Commissioner Silver would have slammed Griffin with double-digit games in the middle of their playoff run. Who knew that his quadriceps injury would eventually take him out of the equation?

DJ has always commented on how awesome it is to play with a coach of Doc’s caliber. His beef was primarily with how CP3 was riding him about his free throws & his one-dimensional offensive skills. Also, Jordan has a problem saying no, especially when Mark Cuban was fawning all over him. DJ’s indecisiveness is not Doc’s problem. Again, grown ass men.

Doc led the Celtics to two championship appearances almost three. Both times were against the Kobe & Gasol-led Lakers in 2007-08 & 2009-10. Remember, you weren’t necessarily into basketball during these years, & you can’t simply base your comments on what you read on the internet. He should be criticized as a GM/team president, but not as a coach. He’s earned his coaching cred, & that’s clearly demonstrated by how loyal his current & former players are to him.

Criticizing Doc in hindsight on his personnel moves is also ludicrous. If that’s the case, should we go back into basketball draft/trades history about the idiotic selections of players that were picked before Jordan, Kobe, Pierce, Nowitzki, etc.? And who the fuck is!? Yeah, it’s the same company started by “The Blackhole.” Legitimate or click bait? I’m surprised that you got bamboozled to link that damn story here of all places, Suns. GTFOOHWTBS!!! Nuff said.

  9. April 25, 2017 1:24 am

Bringing it over here, because it is long ass. 😉

EDIT: As I look up, I see that I am responded to your original post, not the modified one that is now up. I will just leave mine as is.

Kenny, thank you for taking the time to explain it and I am very glad WP didn’t delete it on you. as it has so many times in the past.

I will defer to your experience and expertise as regards the Celtics, but I do want to point out that they had the best record in the league (66 wins, next was Pistons 59 and Lakers with 56), Ray Allen and Paul Pierce who were All Stars, but still strong and healthy before arriving, and they had Defensive Player of the Year in Kevin Garnett, who, while not in skills, certainly in killer spirit, was as competitive as the best of them from what I have heard from other players in interviews about him. Seeing what a great defensive player can do for a team, the Celtics were no slouch team. Look at what Leonard and Green do for their teams – where would the Warriors be without Draymond, or the Spurs without Kwahi? Lastly, it was Ainge that got the accolades for putting the team together, not Rivers for coaching it. However, I wasn’t watching the game in those days, and I am still green in understanding it all.

Part of my growing negative opinion stems from the fact that I expect a lot from leaders/coaches/managers/principals etc. As the school reflects the principal, the team reflects the coach. Right or wrong, that is where I start. That is why I feel the trouble with Jordan (and childish behavior on the part of other players) is partly Coach’s fault. Coach should have sensed there was something growing between CP3 and DeAndre. Coaches literally live with their players 8 months of the year. Having said that, agreed about “grown ass men”, and agreed about Jordan having difficulty saying no to the soft kisses of Mr. Cuban. And, yes, coach handled the broken hand incident well. Though in my opinion, it never should have happened. Blake Griffin is no Matt Barnes that a person can’t control. If anything, his childishness should be much easier to control than that of the players who come from the “’hood”. Heck, Phil controlled Dennis Rodman, Kim Jong-un’s friend. LMAO!

Regardless of all that, from first hearing that Rivers would be doing both jobs, I thought it would be impossible to do either well, simply for lack of time and energy (both are 80+ hour per week jobs). I can easily rest all blame on his being too busy managing to be a proper coach. I cannot say, however, that the stuff that has gone down on his watch over the past few years isn’t his responsibility as a coach, at least in part. I don’t believe in a four year string of bad luck. Managing and coaching is too much for Rivers. He may be an excellent coach, but since I have been watching the Clippers, I don’t see any evidence for that. None, really. I would think that with the crew he was handed, almost any coach in the league could have taken the Clippers equally as far as Doc has these past four years.

Ultimately, it is too late now. Now the problem is his inability to say “No” to Balmer regarding these extra responsibilities, which is no longer affecting just the current season, but the future of the team. It is really frustrating to see the wasted opportunities. If this is the end of the season for the Clippers, then I am sure that all of these people will be talking about all of this long and hard.

      April 25, 2017 1:34 am

You talk about “control.” Hey brother, God gave man free will. Like I said before; grown ass men. Hmmm, significant injuries to your best players= bad luck. It’s not his fault that Griffin & CP3 were hurt in those playoffs. Those are facts. The disastrous 3-1 lead over the Rockets is history now because that was their one window at going to the finals imo.

As long as we’re blaming coaches, should we agree to blame Steve Kerr on the Warriors disastrous finals outcome? Heck, they won seventy-three games! Yet, they almost lost against OKC. If not for OKC’s implosion, the Warriors wouldn’t have even got to the finals. Coaches can only do so much. They can’t get on the floor to play with their players or “will” a win. Is it Doc’s fault that Griffin is hurt yet again, Reddick & Crawford are throwing up enough bricks to build chimneys (exception to Crawford in game 4), and his own son, Austin, is still out with a hamstring injury? You can’t blame his coaching when shit goes down like that. I’ve never seen a team hit with so much bad luck at the worst time- the playoffs.

You want to talk about good coaches who are terrible GMs/team presidents? Phil Jackson is a prime example of that. He is singlehandedly decimating the New York Knicks as if they weren’t in enough hot water before he even took over. His insistence on whoever coaches to run the antiquated triangle offense stifles the effectiveness of Jeff Hornacek’s coaching. Let’s also mention the dumbass pick up of Derrick “Mr. Glass” Rose and his continual criticism of Melo in the hopes of pissing him off to waive his no-trade clause. Utter failure as a team president. I think that Ballmer will give one more year to Doc as the team president before he asks him to step down. The Lakers made a solid move in ousting Kupchak & Jim Buss for Magic Johnson & Rob Plinka (Kobe’s agent) to run the as team president & GM, respectively.

I don’t know if you ever got the chance to watch their 2014 playoff series against the Spurs when they beat them in seven games. That was one of the most phenomenal series that I’ve ever seen, and will continue to serve as an example of one of the best playoff series ever. Doc completely out coached Popovich who isn’t a slouch.

    • April 25, 2017 2:42 am

Adding this to address the changes in your post (and I don’t have a problem with you editing after the fact, it is just that it does change things a bit for replying), and reply to your new comment.

Sorry about the link. I have deleted it. I should have remembered (honestly, I couldn’t remember if it was SB or Yahoo or both or what). I didn’t used to look much at sports, just games. I knew what to avoid for games’ news.

Regarding injuries, I believe that proper training can help to prevent some of them. Once the player is out on the court, however, it is out of everyone’s hands. I don’t put it on the coach’s head.

Four years in a row, however, and I start to look for explanations anywhere other than just “bad luck”. It is frustrating to the extreme. Emotional response, I know.

I didn’t see the series between the Spurs and the Clippers, but I heard a lot about it from you and Frenik. I wish I had watched it live. Every night I heard you two raving about the game. It is one of the reasons I pay $80 to watch the Playoffs now – so, you can see that I can’t win with you (LOL!). In fact, I think it was after that specific series, that season, that I pulled the trigger for the first time. Just in time to see them lose to the Rockets. The rest is history.

As regards my opinion of the coaches, my newness to the sport gives me a weird (more often wrong than right) perspective – like slicing a cake down the center and seeing it from the side, rather than from the top. My first encounter with Pop, was his utterly basic coaching mistake against the Heat(?) pulling a player to rest him, costing them a playoff series back when. It was something that I knew was wrong at the time, with literally no experience in the game whatsoever – literally a coaching mistake that not even a high school basketball coach should make. That was my first impression of Pop. I have since learned much more about him and his greatness. First, second, and third impressions are often overly weighted. Imagine someone watching MJ for the first time, playing for the Wizards. The difference between players and coaches is that you can easily go back and see what a player can do. Coaches, not so easily. All I have seen of Doc is literally since the game after the Spurs series.

Glad to hear that Rivers is great.

Let me come back to one issue and try to finesse the point I am trying to make here.
I have a concern. If everyone in the Clippers organization believes as you do, that Doc Rivers has made mistakes only as a manager and not as a coach, then they don’t understand the urgency of taking his manager hat away from him. They think he is being the best coach that he can be, and just being a crappy manager. I think if Doc Rivers was without the extra responsibilities, he would have the time to be a better coach – a father to some, a trainer and teacher to others, etc. etc.. It sounds like that is the kind of coach he was for the Celtics. I don’t see him being that kind of coach for the Clippers – he can’t possibly with all the demands on his time and energy. The Clippers organization needs to realize that not only are they getting only half a manager, they aren’t getting the best coach that Doc could be. If people don’t think his managerial work is affecting his coaching, they are very naïve, imo. Do you see the point I am trying to make? Am I wrong on this, too?

      April 25, 2017 3:04 am

I think that we can both agree that Doc burning both ends of the candle is bad. That pretty much sums that up in a nutshell. Plain & simple. His nepotism for his son’s ridiculous contract has had negative effects to the Clippers’ salary cap which forced them to pay Jamal Crawford. Heck, he’s a three-time sixth man! It’s surprising that his output this season has been streaky at best.

Ballmer was thankful for Doc’s presence during the Donald Sterling fiasco. However, I believe that Ballmer is already seriously looking for an actual GM. After this next season’s contract negotiations are over because both CP3 & Griffin are free agents; Doc will probably relinquish his managerial responsibilities. Reddick will most likely be scooped up by another team because he’s going to command a high dollar contract. Heck, the Clippers got Raymond Felton for cheap at under $1 mil. Good luck on retaining a quality backup point guard like him next season. He might bounce if he doesn’t get a significant increase. It’s time to really study the analytics because it’s going to be a blood bath due to the new CBA.

    • April 25, 2017 8:43 am

Yep. Interesting stuff with the analytics. The tools are now quite mature. In fact, it was CP3 that was discussing them in a podcast I listened to a while ago. They can even go back and have the computers analyze old videos to count things like pick and rolls etc. Amazing technology that enables computer to basically “see” and “understand” what it is looking at.

    This is not an issue.

    • April 25, 2017 10:49 am

No longer an issue? The last handful of times we tried to play with a group of people it simply would not put us on the same team. I really enjoy BF1, but we end up spending hours trying to get on the same team and quit out of frustration most times. If we can do that reliably, I’d be back at it in a heartbeat.

      April 25, 2017 11:45 am

GTFOOHWTBS BF1’s MP is still pooched! It still takes well over a half hour to an hour for your party to get on the same team. When a new game starts, the system splits you all up again. If that isn’t broken, I don’t know how you would think that this issue is fixed, Herandar.

    • April 25, 2017 6:00 pm

Indeed, that is our experience. We know that it will be a 30-60 minute ordeal, so we don’t even try anymore. However, I don’t even mind playing against my friends sometimes (it is funny when I get killed and kill), its the load times and the unresponsiveness in the menus that just kills the game for me.

EDIT: Short attention span combined with work fatigue and short gaming time makes me much less tolerant than I used to be.

      May 1, 2017 9:52 am

Because it has never been an issue for me. Maybe you guys aren’t doing it correctly?

      1) Party up in-game. (Use RT on main menu, all gamer pics for your squad should show in the bottom right of the screen.)
      2) Party leader uses the server browser (which is working much better now) to find a server with enough open slots.
      3) Play as a squad.

Quickmatch is less reliable but works most of the time I play. Or maybe it’s just because I don’t usually game with more than five, but I’ve been in groups of 8 and had very little difficulty staying together. That one time with 12 failed spectacularly, though they reduced the minimum starting player count in the most recent patch.

Even when joining groups already in a game, I’m usually put right in with the right squad 85+% of the time without trying. In the 113 hours I’ve played so far, I’ve finished a game on the other side from my friends once that I’m sure of, maybe twice total, and had zero issues switching at the start of the next round.

Like I said, it has pretty much never been an issue for me.

    • May 1, 2017 7:24 pm

Thanks for taking the time to write it out. We know about the parties, but I am wondering now if our problems are related to our locations/ping. I say this because DICE’s Battlefront won’t even let us join a non-Asian server unless we are escorted (very different beast – no server browser – but same networking engine etc.). Also, I heard LevelCap talk about Ping/Netcode issues just yesterday. I think that because when we have played together we have represented three territories (east (rED, Zender) and west (Blank, Zos) coast AND Japan (Cornie, Suns)), it is stumbling.

I don’t know if I have ever started the game in the same squad (we have always had to set up a new squad), and many times on the opposite team, even when less than 5. Our biggest problems, however, have been when we tried to get more than 5 of us together, even when we were in the same Xbox Live Party. Just a jumble. Really random and bad. And that doesn’t even count the problem of actually finding a west coast server that isn’t either empty or full. So, we either wait forever in an empty server, or we send one or two people onto a server and the rest of us queue up behind. An absolute disaster every time. I don’t know why, but the times when we have tried (and it was often a couple of months ago), the servers were always 1/64 etc. or 62,63/64. Nothing in between.

Blame it on Mattrick, however. He is the inept CEO that obliterated the robust, hugely populated Xbox gaming community. Microsoft just doesn’t have the install numbers anymore.

May 1, 2017 9:49 pm Sorry, can’t blame him. As of the minute I am typing this, there are actually 500 more One BF1 players on than PS4. And 51,000 or so more than PC for what that’s worth.

I thought about the geography in your party, and I’m sure that doesn’t help. And like I said before, the Server Browser has been improved. They were very bad at launch, not showing everything it should, and showing wildly different numbers of servers when you refreshed it.

Ha! Great stats! Would’ve never thought it was that!

Thanks for following up with this, Herandar. 🙂

In other news, last weekend’s try of Overwatch Uprising was very luke warm. Really, if one is going to play that kind of game, may as well play Gears 4 in which some (not all) of the enemies are interesting to look at.

However, I played some more Paladins last night with Cornie and Gollum (gamertag lol), and I had so much fun I couldn’t quit. It has been ages since I have played past my bedtime. I unlocked Barik (Toblerone/Engie) and he was brilliant. We never lost. Cornie and Gollum would own everywhere, and I would play the objective. You get more than one sentry, and a massive shield that you can drop out every 7 seconds or so. Crazy fun! I already made those two promise to play with me tonight and tomorrow night, too. They were happy in return because the night before, they were owning so hard that the matchmaking was setting them up with AFK gamers, not even newbs. AFK!!! LMAO! It made it exceptionally challenging to play a 6v6 game kill all the enemies AND move the objective. With me on the point, they are free to own, pwn, own.

And I could do that because the Warriors absolutely demolished the Blazers. 45 points in the first frickin’ quarter. I could see the Portland team just wishing the night would end. I didn’t even bother watching the 4th. It was time to play Paladins.

Download it people. It is free and fun. If it ever goes premium, you can just dump it, and delete.

Clippers are playing like utter shit at home. It’s pretty much a done deal. Disgusting. They haven’t even broken the sixty point mark in the fourth quarter & are trailing by eight points. Ugh! 😩😡

That’s too bad. Well, sometimes it is the team’s fault for playing bad, and sometimes the other teams are just playing really good. Clippers blew their chance at the beginning of the series. Failing to adapt and take advantage of Gobert’s injury in the first minute of the first game was kind of when they lost the whole thing. Now, it is going as expected with one of their stars out and the other team buff and healthy. Shoot! Too bad.
