The Weekly OT #38

February 5, 2017

More free this week.

…with the release of Fallout Shelter as an Xbox Play Anywhere title for the Xbox One and Windows 10, players will now be able to share their progress between their console and their PC. Users will be able to seamlessly switch between the two versions, with their saves, progress, and achievements all shared between the Xbox One and Windows 10 version of the game.

In addition, as the game moved away from the touchscreens of smartphones, Bethesda has fully adapted Fallout Shelter to be played using the Xbox One controller.

The in-app purchases found in the mobile version of the game will still be present, though, allowing players to spend real money to speed up gameplay and gain access to unlockable items. However, most of the things that can be acquired in Fallout Shelter can be earned without having to resort to in-app purchases. Tech Times has doubled their price to $30 to watch the Superbowl on their site (outside North America), and since I am not very invested in the teams, I am going to forego the cost and just watch the highlights after the fact. I have to teach classes during the actual game, anyway, so it is not like I would be able to sit back with chips and suds and enjoy the ambiance.

And the cheating-est team is almost certainly at it again. Goodall should have tossed Belichick and Brady out of the game permanently with spy gate (a la 8 Men Out).

What is so disappointing is that everyone is tossing around the “Greatest” now as they talk of Brady. He is a talented quarterback and even without cheating may have one a couple of rings. He doesn’t deserve “Greatest” even if he wins today.

And this! Hopefully, they go where they should with this, and do not present something so stupid, it ruins the fun of the first season. Stranger Things 2.

Watching the Pats come back and win in OT last night might be the most depressing night of football ever, and Im an Eagles fan….

Other than them winning, what an incredible football game.

Didn’t get to see it, but it ranks up there with the very best games, from a fan-of-the-game’s perspective.

and I give you this (which is true of Conan:Exiles).

Much as I think Patriots are cheaters, they do prepare, and the other teams choke. Superbowl 51 Highlights.

People are saying this loss was considerably worse than the Seattle loss, because the Falcons were winning big and gave it all away. 5 Worst Superbowl Plays

I agree completely on it being worse than the Seattle loss. You were up by 25 with a little over a quarter to play, and they only ran 5 run plays the rest of the game. Where is the time management, Atlanta?! You HAVE to run the clock down as much as possible when you’re up that much. Make the Pats rush down the field and hope they make mistakes. Embarrassing.

You know, it is interesting. It has become all about the coaches lately. The coaches are effing up so badly, it is as if they are throwing the games. Boneheaded decisions! It redeems Patriots because even if they weren’t cheating, Belichick is smart and dedicated, and so is Brady. The NFL coaching staff, in general, are looking like a bunch of chumps.
