…with the release of Fallout Shelter as an Xbox Play Anywhere title for the Xbox One and Windows 10, players will now be able to share their progress between their console and their PC. Users will be able to seamlessly switch between the two versions, with their saves, progress, and achievements all shared between the Xbox One and Windows 10 version of the game.
In addition, as the game moved away from the touchscreens of smartphones, Bethesda has fully adapted Fallout Shelter to be played using the Xbox One controller.
The in-app purchases found in the mobile version of the game will still be present, though, allowing players to spend real money to speed up gameplay and gain access to unlockable items. However, most of the things that can be acquired in Fallout Shelter can be earned without having to resort to in-app purchases. Tech Times
NFL.com has doubled their price to $30 to watch the Superbowl on their site (outside North America), and since I am not very invested in the teams, I am going to forego the cost and just watch the highlights after the fact. I have to teach classes during the actual game, anyway, so it is not like I would be able to sit back with chips and suds and enjoy the ambiance.
