    OT

You know, the thing is, these aren’t montages, but they are like real sports highlights – like soccer highlights. All the hundreds of hours of wiffed balls for the 12 seconds of unbelievable, the-stars-aligned, greatness. With time and practice, consistency does develop, but these highlight reels are definitely the exception and not the rule. No shooter has this kind of depth (for better or worse – the skill ceiling is hundreds of hours beyond any game I know of), because in no instance is a “kill” a 12 to 15 second set up like a goal from end to end. Some objective games may have similar moments – disarming the bomb etc., or a nice 1v4 win in Gears, but so different. Just thinking out loud about the differences between it and other games.

Herandar, it just popped up in my Japanese Netflix selections and I couldn’t remember who it was who was looking forward to it! Ha! I will definitely check it out.
