Yeah, our poor wallets & games backlog!

Listen, I am willing to put any of these on hold (and wait for the GoTY editions) if you are – including this totally awesome title. Sooner down the pipe, though, is Battlefront. I am ready to buy Battlefront, but it kills me knowing that if I want all the DLC as it comes out, it is going to cost me almost the same price as the game proper – on top of the original price. I would gladly wait until the GoTY Premium-DLC-Included edition comes out later. But for these games, I go with the crowd. I am not going to sit in party and watch y’all Twitchin’ this stuff! So, it is all for one or go fuck yourself and one for all!

Having said that, Cornie has footed the full bill for Halo 5 (making it in party a gift to Johann), and so I am still set for Battlefront, PvZ:GW2, and The Division to take me into summer. But that is it.

After that, it is all about a surprise game or two, + Gears 4 and ….OVERWATCH, which has now been confirmed for the consoles!

I can’t shake the disgusting feeling that many upcoming games scream rip-off to a large extent. The games I’m specifically calling out are Rainbow Six: Siege & SW: Battlefront. Sure they’re fun & our community has enjoyed the “betas” which were actually demos. Regardless of how much I loved Evolve & Titanfall, games that ONLY contain a multiplayer component are less desirable for me. This trend only saves devs & publishers huge amounts of money. I don’t buy that bullshit excuse that gamers don’t play campaign. They think that the more they keep repeating that idea, it’s going to let them get away with offering barebones games. Screw that crap! I will wait for a more substantial offering for those kind of games before I plunk down my hard earned coin for them. I know that a lot of you guys will probably cave in & pick them up, but I implore you to resist the temptation. They’re already offering a Season Pass for Battlefront even though the game has no single player component whatsoever. It figures that EA expect consumers to be sheep because they know the SW fans will swallow that ish hook, line, & sinker.

I hear ya. The difference between Battlefront and PvZ:GW2 is that the latter will have all additional content for free. I couldn’t believe it when I heard that EA was pimping the Battlefront Ultimate Edition (with the Season’s Pass) for $159.99 CND and that doesn’t include slave Leia or blaster Solo figures either!! WTF?!?!

If I want all the content for the game, that is what I have to pay. At one point, it almost becomes cheaper to buy a bundle, at least then I get two or three games, and then I have a spare console to give away or for when this one breaks.

      Shit’s out of control!

I am not being left behind, but just because the whole gang is jumpin’ doesn’t mean I ain’t peein’ my pants just a little. That is a long way down to the river and these bungee cords look a little frayed.

In this scenario, EA is Jack Reacher and we are the dumb-ass thugs!!! Watch it right to the end.

(I just watched Jack Reacher for the first time tonight. Had been avoiding it like the plague, but it is one of the best movies I have watched in a long time. That bathroom scene is probably the funniest fight scene I have ever seen. Those are my soiled shorts hanging up there in top corner.)
