One Of the Most Articulate, Logical Arguments Against The War On Drugs.

August 14, 2015

Apologies for bringing something “political” to the site, but this guy is so smart in his arguments, I can’t just leave it out there.

I agree with him entirely. Here in Washington State, we are one of the few states (in the USA) that recently within the last few years legalized Marijuana. A lot of the parties fighting this previously, were stating that crime rates would go up, kids would be able to access easier etc.

The exact opposite was true (even DUIs have gone down – including alcohol/drugs, and we have been left with a huge amount of revenue streaming into our state/communities. It has been a few years, and it has done nothing but improved our state.

Absolutely, but we are having a family reunion at Grandma’s house and won’t be back until 2pm JST (10pm PDT) at the earliest. I hope you can game late!

Oregon sales are set to start in October and the laws in effect are the least prohibiting out of all the legal states.

However the real game changer is California. They have a region where it resembles the perfect conditions to grow (sans drought of course). So my guess is whenever more states legalize it, Cali is going to be booming in business. Eventually Oregon will take up that spot as global warming changes things, just like it’s happening with wine.

So yeah for my state it can be quite a game changer. Not only a industry but THE industry.

Legalization of marijuana in Florida failed last year even though more people voted for it than against it. It needed 60% to pass and only got around 53% voting for it. It’s only a matter of time, and I know people that are itching to get into the legal growing and distribution of it because if you get in at the beginning you will be rich.
