Evolv-ing Takes Time

Apparently, the game has been delayed.

That leaves Alien: Isolation, Assassins Creed: Unity, NHL 15, and Sunset Overdrive. Some games that may not have been day one purchases have now moved into the chamber, and are just a trigger pull away.

EDIT: Diablo 3 is due out on August 19th, & the Master Chief Collection will also be due this November.

I’m extremely disappointed, and judging by the humongous size of your choice of pic; you are as well, Suns. I texted rED, Grymmie, & Zos as soon as I read it off of Game Informer earlier today. Apparently, the recently completed Alpha on PC (which rolled out three weeks later than intended) spotlighted many significant issues that needed addressing. It’s not simply just polish & bug fixing, but the Alpha has highlighted lobby, matchmaking, & UI issues that must be finished. The benefit of postponing the game is to ensure a successful launch for a new IP. If TRS stuck with the October 21st launch date, it could have been another Titanfall situation. A lot of hype and fun, but more of a flash in the pan with no long-term longevity.

Max Hoberman of Certain Affinity who was responsible for matchmaking & on-line gameplay for Halo 2 & 3 and the L4D series, is NOT working on TRS’ new IP. Some of those glaring issues brought forth by the Alpha are attributed to the on-line play. Now 2015 is looking ridiculous with Evolve, The Witcher 3, The Division, Batman: Arkham Knight, Quantum Break, etc.

    Sorry to hear!

    Destiny and Halo boys!

Not sure about Destiny yet. Halo, yes.

No, on Destiny, but yes for Halo: MCC.

Halo is a wonderful game that got me back into console gaming, but I have never been able to contribute positively (literally) to our team in MP, and most of the campaigns I didn’t even finish when they were fresh.

I will enjoy watching y’all play Halo via Twitch or 2GNs screens.

@Kenai below, I won’t be making it online until late tonight, and then it will probably be more about PvZ than BF4. I have been working on my scientist, all-star, and chomper classes and having a ball! The devs have completely ignored my posts, links, and private messages, so I have no delusions about possible tweaks/changes in the future. However, I have put my drop in the bucket; I have done what I can. Even as it is, I am still having a great time with it.

Nice header. Who changed the pic from Evolve to NHL?

rED & I changed the banner. No need to plug Evolve since it’s not coming out until 2015.

Posts, links AND Private Messages?! You come on like a lovestruck teen, Suns. Love you for it, but might freak out the developers.

As for me, I inherited a newer laptop from a family member that died, and have been playing Civ V for a couple of weeks now. Heh, I guess that makes me a PC gamer now.

They ignored everything. I guess that is better than leading me on like Splash Damage did.

      Doh! I spoke too soon.

I just got a private message:

“Cool thanks, also if you guys ever want to tell people directly your suggestions, Justin is on twitter : https://twitter.com/JA_Wiebe

Glad I returned my 2nd Xbox One when I did. Coming up on one year and we are playing BF4 and PVZ…. Zzzzzz……

But 2015 looks to have a bonanza. I’ll likely get another xbox then.

Who would have thought our main Stranded pastime would be party chat and watching tv and netflix?….

    BF4 tonight anyone?

GTA:V all the way. Just finished it again after a few months of not playing since i moved back to the Caribbean to remodel my old apartment.

I have to say it is easily my top choice for best 360 game both in great SP story and just random madness in the MP. GTA V and Diablo 3 made me regret buying an xbox one even at a discount because there was nothing comparable to play. Thankfully that wrong will be righted as the better graphics shall make going throught the story again more fun and Diablo with the expansion should burn more hours.

Destiny, Halo, etc. are great to freshen up things but ultimately is the throwback best rated titles that will do it for me.

I also have to mention the new COD. I finally finished Ghosts SP and doing a second run through Blops 2. I regret eschewing the SPs for the MP, Ghosts was a pleasant surprise at the final chapters, for a series that has been done to death they managed to pull the rug, i was expecting very little due to the bad ratings.

Still no armored suits can compete against Trevor Phillips. TP industries shall conquer them all. (NSFW http://youtu.be/4ubQWiIfGNc)

      Frenik,

Do you still have your Xbox One? And are you saying you are getting Diablo 3 for it?
