Pinball FX2 Coming To The One!

July 16, 2014

Under the heading “Next Gen“, the good news is that Pinball FX2 is coming to Xbox One July 31st. The bad news is that Microsoft has apparently made it impossible to bring over any data/privileges at all from the 360. I don’t care about the ‘chevos, or even my intimidating high scores, 😀 but I do wish I had access to a couple of my favorite tables like Earth Defense, Secrets of the Deep, and World War Hulk without having to rebuy them. Fortunately, there are still some packs that I haven’t purchased, and some sweet titles for release in the very near future. Also, aside from the principle behind it, what is 3 bucks for literally tens (if not hundreds) of hours of gaming?

One of the first tables I will buy is The Walking Dead.

Can I import my existing Xbox 360 tables, scores, or achievements to Xbox One?

Unfortunately not. We know this is very important to fans of the Xbox 360 version, but we are very sorry to say that this was not an option made available to us on Xbox One. We always do our best to take advantage of any platform’s features whenever possible, and if a feature like cross-platform entitlement is an option for us, we will make it an option for our players. Unfortunately in this case, it was not.

How much does Pinball FX2 cost?
It’s free for all players to download!

Are there any free tables with this version of Pinball FX2?
Yes, one of our fan favorites, Sorcerer’s Lair, is totally free for all players who download the game.

Can I try the tables before I decide to buy?
Yes! There are demos for every table.

Are there any special features/enhancements?
• 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second
• Worldwide tournaments
• New achievements
• New menu interface

As always, we really want to hear your feedback, please let us know if you have any questions! We will update this FAQ as needed with questions you may have.

I read about Pinball FX heading over to the XB1 by month’s end, and I immediately thought of you, Suns. Then I thought, “Meh.” 😉

LOL Yeah, this is mostly just a public announcement for …myself! LOL

One thing that is very cool about Next Gen is that I can stream my shit and show those interested how to bust a move. 😉

MS has now allowed 360 Pinball FX2 tables to be imported to the Xbox One’s Pinball FX2 free of charge according to an announcement from Zen Studios today! MS has reversed their previous decision prohibiting Zen Studios from offering the same deal with PS3 & PS4. It looks like MS is actually listening to its customers/gamers. Great news for you, Suns! Now ‘Bust a Move,’ you breakdancing fool! 😀

WOOT! That is great news for many reasons! In order to implement this, it looks like the game will be delayed until mid-August, but that is fine by me! WOOOOO!
