Titanfall Top-down Maps Leaked

March 3, 2014

A Reddit user, FallenFusion, leaked the top-down views of all fifteen maps for Titanfall. They’re all asymmetrical which I think is a good thing. You can pause the slideshow & zoom in on the maps for more details on the landmarks. Time to start planning, Pilots!

Nice find, Kenny! Accurately and succinctly calling out locations is going to be crucial. These aren’t just maps, they actually provide the names of the locations! Incredibly useful!

I added the thumbnail gallery because I don’t know how to access (and zoom) an image once it is in the slideshow.

    Now, for the content.

Pilot Hunter is one of the new modes and as you will only get points for Pilot kills, (though the grunts/specters still take time off Titan fall) it may be the “pro” competitive mode.

Zip lines! Yet another way to get around the map! Simply ambulating the environment is going to be at least half of the fun of playing the game.

Generations is a very slick implementation (upgrade) of the “prestige” system. Allowing you to keep your Burn Cards, AND giving you a 10% boost in XP is very cool. I wonder if Generation 3 is 20% making Generation 10 200% total. Anyway, very slick.

Thanks for putting up the thumbnail gallery, Mike! It’s going to be surprising to play with all of the features and elements that they kept under wraps in the Beta. It’ll seem like we’re playing a new game which we will be in a sense.

Here’s the XP increase of each Generation:
      Generation 1 (starting) = 1.0x
      Generation 2 = 1.1x
      Generation 3 = 1.2x
      Generation 4 = 1.3x
      Generation 5 = 1.5x
      Generation 6 = 1.8x
      Generation 7 = 2.1x
      Generation 8 = 2.5x
      Generation 9 = 2.9x
      Generation 10 = 3.5x

Just a little XB1 love from some celebs. Will Arnett & Chris Hardwick to name two. Now game forums are rank with Sony fanbois blasting MS for paying for celebrity endorsements. All I have to say is, “GTFO with that noise!”

I just had a stroke of marketing genius. MS should hire Jerry Lambert, who is famous for playing PS3 front man, Kevin Butler, to start doing XB1 commercials. Heck, it’s one of the things Sony actually did well last generation. Now that would be gut bustingly hilarious! You see, even…

OT: Very interesting & yet not surprising at all. Well-written article about the recent revelation of Sony’s lies. Some of you may have already read the reports that Killzone: Shadowfall was not running true 1080p 60fps, but rather 960 x 1080 30fps in single-player and 720p in MP. You guys really need to read this. The hypocrisy knows no boundaries with these clowns.
