BF4 Beta and Battlelog Details

September 23, 2013

It will be the Siege of Shanghai map (sad face – I wanted the water), and count on the thing behaving much more like an pre-alpha. Even at the latest game show they were demoing BF4 on PCs rather than consoles. As my disappointment in the BF3 beta cost me a full $40 dollars in cancelled pre-orders, I will not allow the awful shape of the BF4 beta to influence my pre-love for the game. (I don’t plan on buying it anyway until I can play it the way it was designed to be played, with 63 other players.) Via EvAv.

Also, there is a massive update on the official BF4 blog regarding the Battlelog, missions, and stats, from the Road To Battlefield 4 Series. Via Shacknews.

Two BF blog posts that merit attention for those interested in the game:

Thanks, Kenai. Reminds me of the Warthog jump. I laughed out loud at the sudden orange letters appearance of the enemy watching from the rafters.
