BF3: The C4 Dirtbike

August 25, 2013

Absolutely hilarious. I just had to post this. I recommend watching the whole thing. My favorite part is from 10:00-10:30.

Also, here is some more Gamescom BF4 news from LevelCap’s channel. Some really good stuff in here, including the medic defibrillator changes. You will only be able to revive three people in one life. This is going to be a huge game changer.

Yes, the Defib tweaks will change the game. I think it is an interesting and appropriate change, but what they might have done (and I wish they had) to a similar effect is to simply implement “gibs”. That would be more “realistic” and still have the same effect of canceling out the ridiculous revive trains. Get hit by a 50 ca or a ‘nade, and sorry, your ass (and face) are all over the place. Paddles won’t reconstitute that sh!t.

Having watched a good bit of the footage from Gamescom, there is, at least in the Alpha. A guy blew up the attack boat, and got credited for a Catastrophic Kill. Not sure if the .50 cal will do the same, but apparently it is a one hit kill from any range.

    Shacknews is reporting:

There will be seven modes to play through, many of them familiar with Battlefield vets: Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Rush, Domination, Conquest, Defuse, and Obliteration. These will be played across ten maps.

    OT

Major Nelson posted audio samples from 360 and One chat for comparison.

I just hope the Skype codec doesn’t destroy the networking for the games.
