For those with tablets or smart phones, this is very slick: server browsing while playing in a game, changing loadout for next respawn, real-time mini-map, squad leader commands. I wonder if EA is going to put a price on it?

    Premium feature, paid!

As much as I can see EA putting a price on this, Activision had to change their policies on their “premium” service.

If they would put a subscription on this service it would be a really tough decision for me. All of those features looked so badass.

Yeah, actually, I don’t think they will charge for this, but there was definitely rumor that they were looking for some replacement for the Online Pass.

It really does look very cool, and I love it that DICE is embracing the alternative tech, like Ubisoft for The Division.

Very cool! Also (off-topic) did you all see the news regarding xbox one and indies?

    – Every Xbox One console will function as a dev kit.
    – Indies can now self publish their content to XBL.

This is honestly pretty huge news that will enable a lot of creative content to be released on XBL. Also, as Red and I were talking about recently, this will enable Day Z to possible come to Xbox One.

Got a link? I am way behind on news!

Oh, so I can find other gamers from around here? Funny thing I’ve noticed though. Most of my good XBL friends are Canadian. I don’t actually like most of the gamers I’ve encountered that live near me.

I’ve also heard Commanders will be able to call in airstrikes using this or something similar. There’s a lot of fascinating applications and possibilities in squeezing a few bucks more out of gamers with such a thing.
