Just Cardboard, That’s All

October 1, 2012

For all I know, The Blankman actually visited Caine’s Arcade. Then again, maybe not. Anyway, via Dubious Quality, I came across this fantastic story of imagination, creativity, ingenuity, perseverance, and a massive scholarship.

Very heartwarming! I’d be there to try out his arcade, but it’s become a media frenzy now. What an awesome thing that the amateur filmmaker did for Caine’s life. The kid has a $150k college scholarship for crying out loud! Wow!

I’m just surprised that none of the eco-friendly nut jobs here in portland, ever thought about the first recycled arcade. This kid beat them to it! I mean sure you can go for the “Aww Cute” factor, but I am sure there are other people starting to think of ways of turning trash into an entertainment venue of some sort, and over here it would actually profit.
