Battlefield 3: 1.06 Patch Notes Leaked?

Just found this over at the BF3 Subreddit over at It looks like the patch notes for the inevitable 1.06 Patch for Armored Kill have been leaked. It doesn’t say how they have been leaked, however, it does seem like it’s legit. And after a quick skim through it may be DICE’s best patch to date. I’ll include a full list after the jump and will include the link to the list below and I’ll also bold and italicize some of the more important fixes. It is translated with Google Translate from what I could assume to be an Italian website so some words may not make sense, but you’ll get the general idea.

Patch 1.06 Notes

-Reduced the reload time of: SCAR-L, AEK-971, F2000, AN-94, AK-74, PP2000, G3A3, SKS, MG36, JNG-90, MK3A1, SCAR-H, SVD, QBZ-95B, -AUG A3, 44 Magnum, KH2002, Pecheneg, L85A2, QBB-95, M1911, MP7, M4A1, FAMAS, M39 EBR, M416, PP-19, QBU-88
-Increased the reload time of: P90
-Increased damage from near the UMP 45 and reduced to a distance
-Increased the damage of the PP2000 remote to highlight its role as a Mid-Range

-Reduced damage, range and recoil of the M93R

    1) Yes, increase the mortar damage. I was mortaring the alley in Grand Bazaar yesterday and only got one kill despite a plethora of hitmarkers and orange triangles in the map.

    2) Explosives remaining after death!!! Yay!!!! I get why people don’t like it, but was sad when they removed it.

    3) Glad you won’t get punished as much for getting dogtags. Showing the next map at the end of the match is great too.

    4) Allied grenades should have always been a different color when friendly fire is off.

    5) Pink bullets?!

    Grand Bazaar is a tricky place to mortar because most often, those orange triangles actually have roofs over their heads. But yes, the mortar in its current state is darn near useless. Also, yes to the persistent explosives! C4 runs to the tanks are no longer must-suicide missions. I will be able to take my chances and try to run away before I trigger them. Very good stuff!

    I hope that the translation of:
    -Increased the damage of rockets and helicopters to helicopter JET, JET and infantry
    -Increased the damage of the gunner and IFV against Helicopters and JET

    Is for damage of rockets against helicopters and jets without needing to Soflam.
    There is nothing worse than a good pilot vs a stinger. (Stinger rarely even locks on, and if it does you’ve got a 1 in 56 chance of the missile hitting the damn locked on Chopper)

      I agree %100. We should be able to take out most choppers with small arms a la BC:Vietnam. For those that we can’t, it should be darned difficult to shake a stinger, and very easy to lock on for all AA weapons. BTW, I took out a Little Bird with a grenade launcher a month ago or so. There were witnesses and I was happy.
