Borderlands 2: Come And Get Me

August 13, 2012

They are still going on about the many guns, but there is a nice display of the classes and gameplay, too. Via EvAv.

I’ll wait for a sale. Almost all the games that I buy in September never pan out after November, and last year I was able to score AC: Revelations for $30 on Black Friday. Which after I finished and had my fun, hardly ever touched again. Ditto Borderlands 1.

That’s the thing about every Ubisoft game. They flood the market with so many copies that retailers are forced to drop the price to clear out some inventory. I never purchase any Ubisoft title until a month later which is often a savings of $15-20.

I think the reason why many people are choosing to pre-order Borderlands 2 is primarily due to the bonus content of the new character & other digital goods. Although they’ll most likely be available a month after the initial launch, it will probably cost 800 MS($10).

Well we’ll see. I got Batman GOTY edition for $30 a month ago. I think games in general are dropping faster in price. If it doesn’t I’ll just wait for the Games on Demand version for sharing. They have been coming out faster this last year, so I don’t think it’s that hard of a wait, and then have it digitally and playable on two 360’s. Suns you should really consider that, for the price of two games 4GN would be able to all play.

You are right, ‘Frenik. I will talk to the boys, because the dd download is saving us big bucks on a bunch of games, and we need to start taking greater advantage of it. (Most recently, it saved us 100 bucks on Premium passes). The closing that “loop hole” is the thing I fear most about the next gen.

And we pre-order because we end up paying far more if we wait, being in our special location with special requirements.
