WTF?!? A:CM just got delayed until Feb. 2013 according to Sega this morning! This was the only game that I really had my eyes on for the 360. Not only that, but several other triple-A titles such as Bioshock: Infinite, Ninja Theory’s Devil May Cry, & Crystal Dynamic’s reintro of Tomb Raider have been delayed until 2013 as well. Perhaps the developers & publishers are pushing back these titles due to the last hurrah before the next-gen consoles are officially announced. I seriously think that we will receive concrete info on the next MS & Sony consoles at this E3. Don’t even buy into the denial that they won’t show up at the June show.

I guess The Last of Us is the only game on the docket for 2012. Sheesh, who would have thought a PS3 game would spearhead my most wanted list? I’m lukewarm on Borderlands 2 right now. Damn, color me extremely disappointed at the latest A:CM news. 😦

Actually, if it weren’t for the fact that it will almost certainly mean a better product, I would be very disappointed, too. (I just hope this delay isn’t due to move the team over to Bore-derlands 2 😉 so that they can meet their deadline. )

A:CM was the only thing on my 360 radar as well, but maybe something else will pop up.

I am still wishing, though have little hope, that Epic will create a private lobby system, and offer some more classic maps for Gears 3. I would pay. I seriously miss the heyday of Gears 1 gaming. Nothing (not L4D, BC2 nor BF3) has scratched that visceral and extremely social itch since Gears 2 was released. If people could stomach my roadie shotgun runs, I would toss Gears 1 in the tray in a heartbeat. I miss it like I miss our cabin in Lake of the Woods.

Also, and I duck as I say this, it is possible that Valve will finally release the 360 L4D DLC that they keep mentioning in every blog post.

Anyway, you are right about Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. After reading PAR’s article, I am very excited to hear and see more. That game may well raise the bar.
