Monaco Level Editor

January 26, 2012

The editor is a big part of the design process behind Monaco. To prove the accessibility of the editor, I don’t have any level design experience, so anyone can make a level if they wanted to. We want a thriving map making community, and we have a few ideas on how to keep it flourishing over time.” Via IndieGames.com

Minecraft builders welcome. Remakes of famous locations, real and fictional, recommended. Monaco love you long time.

Update: IndieGames.com just put up a new “interview” with Andy Nguyen, level designer. It is an interesting look into his break into the industry. And, another one here (added Feb 13, ’12).

Andy is at it again. Calling on French speakers to provide audio bytes for his game. Frickin’ awesome! French cops chasing us as we heist. Getting away from French cops?! WIN!

I will be getting this on XBL if that is the console it releases on. If not, I might still get this on PC, assuming it works on my old laptop.
