Loved the new video. Thanks for keeping us up to date. Actual soldiers cast = Awesome!

    Didn’t know that till now.

Moved up to a likely “Day 1”.

Have you checked out “Tuskeegee Airmen”?

Watching the documentary that they put together that the movie is based on. They actual vets are reported to love the movie.

Thanks for the heads-up, Kenai. Will have to check it out.

Also, the fact that real Navy Seals are the cast for AoV is the reason I have been relentlessly posting about it. Regardless of the quality of acting, this is going to be one of my favorite movies of the year, and will most likely have a profound and lasting influence on the whole “action” movie genre.

I suspect it will be one of the most successful activities in recruitment the U.S. government has ever engaged in. Even the popcorn film Top Gun had a considerable and real impact on applications for service (500% increase). But Act of Valor will be far more effective.

When I read your post I didn’t think it would have an impact on actual applications for service, I can see after watching the trailer though.

Looks unbelievably good, I still prefer a controller than the real thing, my run and gun up the middle wouldn’t be too effective in real life.

And who are the actual soldiers? The entire cast?!

After watching the second trailer, I saw the text about who portrayed the soldiers. I saw that message in the first trailer, thought they were giving support, my mistake. Disregard my question.
