Site of the Week: Collative Learning

July 24, 2011

via Joystiq.

I have to post about this. Kubrik’s The Shining ranks up there with Alien and The Thing as one of my all time favorite horror movies, and is probably the scariest of the three, if only for reasons of realism. Rob Ager provides a fascinating walk through the impossibility of Kubrik’s set design, all discovered through the act of re-creation for gaming sake. Mr Ager offers more analysis on other films, including Aliens and Pulp Fiction, over at his site: Collative Learning.
