HEY GUYS!!! anyway, I’ve been pretty busy with my tracks lately. my hottest one on youtube seems to be my track “Dub of the Dead” which was a track that was originally inspired by L4D but I couldn’t find any sound clips so I settled with other various zombie flicks.
and another track that is doing surprisingly well is one of my latest, “Swagger Power”. it’s my redux of one of my absolute favorite tunes from Datsik and Excision. and within one day of being on soundcloud it has 9 downloads and 65 views. that may not seem like a lot, but compared to all my other tracks that’s breaking some personal records.
EDIT: scratch that actually haha. I just checked it again and apparently it has 127 views and 10 dl’s
however, this new track, “Purple Magnolias,” I just finished up about an hour ago may suit all of you more with the style of music. it’s a throwback tune to old Cosmic Cloud. chill, laid back, and mellow. I’ll embed the soundcloud player below.

and also, I’ve been trying to expand my producing knowledge so I’ve been tinkering with the art of Mashups. for those who don’t know what that is, it’s just simply mashing a songs instrumental track with another’s acapella track. essentially mashing both those tracks together. so I’ve made two mash up tracks so far and they are a blast to make. another reason I’m making them is so that I have a nice portfolio of original mashes that I could use whenever I dj a club or whatever. anyway, here’s my better of the two tracks. it’s a mash of deadmau5′s “Ghosts n Stuff” and Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa’s “Make it Hot.” hope you guys enjoy!

even though I know most of you aren’t into dubstep, I’ve decided to work on a chiptune/dub track. I figured you guys would appreciate it more so than your average homeboy (+10 points for whoever gets the reference). chiptune is pretty much just making music with 8bit sounds. anyway, here’s a demo of the track I’m working on.
