The Better Angels of Our Nature

As the media takes the recent events for an opportunity to fan false flames against the relationship between violence in games and movies and that in society, it is important to step back and take a rational look at the actual trends. Steven Pinker wrote a book in 2011 entitled, “The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined” and has presented some of that content (embedded above) at The Royal Institution of Great Britain.
