LOL I had fun. If Minki insists on playing with us, then we are gonna have to pick up another copy because split screen with host gore = zero visibility.

That news about Gears 3 being more “shottie-centric” is wild. Of everything about Gears 2 that I don’t like, my biggest complaint is that the emphasis on precision aiming in effect neutered me. If they brought back the shottie duels, I could play it even with the unrepairable lag.
Anyway, special thanks to Blankman who plugged his nose through the whole thing and played not just a map or two, but the whole session. Dang, if we could just get you to laugh about it Blank, and enjoy it like we do, then we would be set from now until Gears 3.

I can game tonight, starting somewhere around 1:00am PST. I will dash home. If we have a room full, I would be happy to play more Gears 1 (and I will even try Gears 2 TU 6 with x8 points LMAO). However, if we only have 4 or so, I would really like to play some Squad Deathmatch BC2, baby. Missed it yesterday.
OT Reading this article reminded me of Kenny’s oft repeated statement, Smoke and Mirrors.
“While the camera can track “up to six people”, it can only handle two “active players” at a time, relegating the rest to support roles at best, and idle spectators at worst. Asking for six players at once may have been a pipe dream, but with the Wii supporting four players, a limit of two “active players” will be a let-down to owners upgrading and expecting the whole family to be able to play at once.
So the lush videos and examples at E3 where more than two people seemed to be playing were just for show.“
